I was going to mention that there is a huge die off with bats world wide sort of mirroring the bee colony collapse..I think rabies (from my research) is a rarity but I do know it varies from region to region. I think you got a blessing. :)
I’m very aware of the bat die offs which is why I want them to stick around. The area I’m moving from was struck hard and I’ve only seen one bat this year when normally at night the skies are full of bats hunting. I love bats, but I was concerned with them spreading diseases to my other animals. Everyone seems to be of the opinion though that it’s nothing to worry about. So I will let them stay. It will be nice to sit outside at night and watch them dart about the sky.
