Clicker training on the farm.
I finally found my clicker today. I’ve been looking for it since we moved.
So I got started on training the pigs to back up. It’s the only “trick” I train them to do. I mean if I wanted to I could train them to do all sorts of tricks, but it’s not really needed.

I have to pick my mom up from the airport in Erie at 10pm on Wednesday night. There was a flight that came in around 5pm, but she waited until the last minute to buy her ticket and the prices went up.

It was my turn to feed the animals tonight. When I was out by the pigs I noticed an old rusted box spring by the patch I’m going to plant my three sister’s garden.
I asked my husband where is came from and why it was back there. Turns out he pulled it from the scrap pile behind our neighbors house with the four-wheeler and used it to level out the garden.

Screw exercise.
My SIL has been talking about her workouts on facebook, because she talks about everything and anything on her facebook. Yesterday she was cheering herself because she lost 5lbs! Awesome for her, but I rather roll in pig shit than do lunges and squats. Guineas
We went to my husband’s aunt’s house after he got out of work and picked up the two guinea fowl she was getting rid of.
Got home and they made a run for it.
Hopefully they come back.
Pro-tip: Always make sure your guinea encloser is secure (i.e. the fencing isn’t big enough for them to walk right through) before releasing your birds into it.

The 20 chicks I hatched out from the Mennonites up the road are supposed to be Barred Rock/Buff Orpington crosses. The odd thing about them, though, is some of the chicks have a rose comb, which neither Barred Rocks or Buff Orpingtons have.
